About Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier
The Pleasure Pier is a 1,130-foot pier off the Galveston seawall with about 16 rides, midway games and food over the water. It suits families with kids who can ride and teens after a coaster with an ocean view. Grandparents and non-riders can buy a cheap walk-on pass, and families riding at Kemah too should look at the $49.99 Weekend Adventure Pass.

Little ways to save
Non-riders should buy the walk-on pass instead of a ride pass.
Online tickets are good for 30 days, so a windy day does not have to cost you.
Rides close for high winds and lightning with no rain checks, so check the forecast.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, so plan to eat before or on the pier.
